Pikajärve manor, which is also known as the Cantervilla Castle, is probably one of the cosiest manors in Estonia. The main building (built in 1908) and the vivid quarry stone outbuildings are on a landscape filled with beautiful dome-shaped hillocks, high up on the shore of a lake. The walls of the halls of the eye-catching main building are decorated with landscape paintings and portraits, antique furniture and the light from the chandeliers add festivity and romance. The manor is private property at the moment and operates as an establishment for holding different events and offers accommodation.

Restaurant Dorpat, with a view of the River Emajõgi, always serves the best selection of Estonian and international cuisines. The restaurant is one of the best in Tartu and has received recognition for several years in a row.We serve a generous breakfast buffet for the hotel guests seven days a week. In addition, our customers can enjoy our lunch buffet on working days from noon until 2 pm; the buffet selection includes soups, fresh salads, mains and desserts. In summer, our outdoor café is open.Dorpat restaurant is perfect for group catering, receptions and other occasions.

On the grounds of Taagepera Castle, a unique "Alice in Wonderland" theme park is open in the summer. You can enjoy thousands of flowers, a colorful magic forest, themed sculptures, and giant installations inspired by the world-famous fairytale. The park offers lots to discover for both children and adults. The 40-meter tower of the castle will be a favorite place for visitors, as each floor of the tower tells its own story. Emajõe-Suursoo, located in Tartu County, is home to dozens of bog islands and pristine nature, where a local guide can take you on an adventure. Since humans rarely set foot here, the area is home to a diverse range of species. Using bogshoes, we will walk across the bog islands and explore their primeval forests. We will definitely see traces of animal and bird activity and maybe even meet the local inhabitants themselves. If you are lucky, you may find a proud eagle owl or moose antlers during the hike. The trip also includes a light snack. The hike is suitable for children aged 12 and above. Friendly pets are welcome too!

There is a unique children’s museum on the first floor of the Varbuse post station of the Road Museum. Children have the whole floor to themselves for having fun. Here, you will find exciting reading, educational games and activities, a puppet theatre, and the Chamber of Secrets which introduces fairy tales.There is an animal called Ajaloom (Time Animal) living in the children’s museum who is excited to meet his new friends to explore together what time is. The children’s floor is perfect for organising birthdays: it can accommodate up to 20 guests.

Café-restaurant Suur Muna is located in Haanja Nature Park, right at the foot of the highest peak in the Baltics, Suur Munamäe, and is one of the most popular places to eat in South Estonia. The food is primarily made from local and organic ingredients sourced from farmers in Võru County, following the "farm to table" principle. The menu features local snacks, handmade ravioli and pasta, a variety of salads, fish dishes, lamb and game meats, and desserts.
